Urenco USA Installs New Centrifuges at Plant in New Mexico

In October, Urenco USA installed the first centrifuges in an existing centrifuge hall as part of its expansion of enrichment capacity. In total, Urenco USA will add an additional 700,000 SWU per year, an estimated 15% increase in production capacity. Urenco USA expects that it will begin producing enriched uranium with the new capacity in 2025. The addition of 700,000 SWU per year will be completed in 2027.
