NRC Commissioners Approve Rulemaking to Harmonize Transportation Requirements with IAEA Standards

View NRC rulemaking
In July, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approved the issuance of a proposed rule to harmonize the NRC’s regulations with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) standards and ensure conformance with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
