  • Emphasized international cooperation with IMO and UNECE for harmonized safety and regulatory approaches

Representing WNTI, Elisa Penda delivered a presentation titled “Navigating the Future: Powered by Nuclear, Delivered by Transport”, advocating for:

  • Safety and security by design
  • Harmonization of nuclear, transport, and maritime regulations
  • Clear liability frameworks and robust emergency preparedness
  • Public perception and environmental considerations
