1 – To invoke waiver proposals to enable this session to convene.

2 – Expressions of condolences and solidary to the families and loved ones of seafarers who have perished as a result of attacks on ships in the region

3- call for de-escalation of tensions

4 – reaffirmed its commitment to the principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations and all relevant international conventions and agreements

5 – recalled the purpose of the IMO and its mission to promote safe, secure and environmentally sound shipping

6 – Strongly condemned the attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran on shipping and the territories of Gulf States

7 – reaffirmed the principles of freedom of navigation
