Yukio Sakakibara first joined the Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. in 1996.
In 2003, he started working in the nuclear fuel cycle department, where he was in charge of overseeing front-end contracts, back-end contracts.
He has been seconded to 3 organizations as below.

2013～2016 Overseas Reprocessing Committee (ORC) at FEPC
2018～2021 Nuclear Reprocessing Organization of Japan (NuRO)
In 2023, Yukio was seconded to FEPC again and is currently General Manager of Transport Headquarters at ORC.
