Yukio Okabe

Engineering and EPR Specialist

Yukio Okabe has 11 years of experience with transport of radioactive materials. He obtained his Masters in Engineering from Chiba University, Japan In 2010. After that, he began working for Nuclear Fuel Transport Co., Ltd where he took care of designing and licensing various packages intended to transport spent fuel, MOX fuel, low level radioactive waste and decommissioning waste.

He had been assigned to Emergency Response team in the company and trained regularly. He was also involved in developing an emergency response procedure as a package design specialist.

Yukio joined WNTI in July 2021.
