U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Seeks Comments on Review of Hazardous Materials Transport Regulations

On June 4, 2025, the U.S. DOT’s Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) published an Advanced Notice of Proposed Ruling (ANPR) to solicit stakeholder feedback on whether to repeal or amend any requirements in the Hazardous Materials Rulemaking Procedures and Program Procedures, or the Hazardous Materials Regulations to eliminate undue burdens on the identification, development, and use of domestic energy resources and to improve government efficiency.

40 CFR Parts 171 through 180, Hazardous Materials Regulations

WNTI requests that any comments be submitted to WNTI by July 13.

Comments on this ANPR must be received by August 4, 2025.
