The United Nations (UN) Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) Working Party on Nuclear Liability and Transport (WPNLT) held a workshop to:

-identify challenges (insurance, legal and technical) related to the qualification of nuclear substances whilst organising their transport;
-analyse the exclusions of nuclear substances from the scope of application of the nuclear liability regime(s), where applicable; and
-examine practical solutions regarding the qualification of nuclear substances to be transported.
