The IAEA Technical Meeting was held in Vienna, Austria, from 17 to 21 August 2026. It brought together transport experts and regulators from Member States and industry to exchange experience and discuss key challenges related to the IAEA Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material (SSR‑6).
Five WNTI member experts participated in this meeting. They delivered presentations and contributed to discussions on key challenges and emerging issues related to the IAEA Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material (SSR-6).
The discussions highlighted the importance of continued industry engagement in international regulatory development. WNTI remains committed to supporting its members in bringing practical expertise and industry experience to IAEA and TRANSSC activities.
