WNTI SUMMER SAMM 2026 – Front End

Members received updates on the development of a Good Practice Guide for the load securing of 48Y cylinders, revisions to ISO and ANSI standards, package licensing activities, and ongoing work related to UF₆ transport packages.

The committee also discussed regulatory developments, including the application of Human Factors requirements to transport package approvals in the UK, and reviewed updates to WNTI publications. 

The meeting concluded with an industry experience presentation from Orano CE and agreement on follow-up actions to support ongoing technical and regulatory work. The next meeting is planned alongside the WNTI Semi-Annual Members Meeting (SAMM) later this year (October).
